Extra Curriculum Activities
Local
professional tour guides and Art Historians can be hired on behalf
of the program. Our contacts are vast and of an extremely high standard,
guaranteeing informative and well organized activities to many destinations.
CLIDA can organize comfortable air-conditioned bus or train transportation
to the selected cities chosen by the program. Overnight or weekend
accommodation can be arranged at corporate rates.
Our office can offer students updated information on all cultural
events happening in and around the area of Tuscany.
We can at the request of the program, include quotes on many tours
that we have specialized in over the past years. Some of these destinations

CLIDA also directly
organizes tickets for the main opera, ballet and concerts held in

Special visits to the Vasari corridor, Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi gallery
and Accademia with English speaking professional tour guides.
CLIDA is very flexible and can basically organize any trip that
is requested.
American festivities such as: Thanksgiving and Halloween are celebrated,
and CLIDA is also able to organize American birthday cakes and greetings
for students whilst on the program.
