Accommodations
CLIDA can organize
housing in advance for all students in homestays, shared student
apartments, independent studio apartments or pensioni.
Housing is located in the historical center and within the center
perimeters within easy access to transport. CLIDA carefully selects
all housing, maintaining high quality standards and ensuring that
all student or faculty requests are met before arrival.
Quality control
Housing is periodically checked by our housing staff in order to
ensure that our standards are being maintained.
Students will have a reference point at the school to discuss all
housing matters.
Apartments
Well furnished, located within walking distance or rapid bus rides.
All apartments are equipped with all kitchen utensils, bathroom
and bedroom linen, heating and some also have air-conditioning.
The apartments can be of a super 5 star standard to a comfortable,
clean dormitory standard.
Independant Studio Apartment
Usually studios consist of one large room with sleeping corner or
pull out sofa bed. Suitable for one person.
Residence/dorms
This type of accommodation is becoming popular in Florence and large
structures are slowly being built in order to accommodate this type
of accommodation request.
The residences are located in the historical center of Florence
and consist of double, triple and quadruple rooms with private bathroom
facilities, common kitchens and socializing areas.
One particular residence that CLIDA works closely with has facilities
also for the disabled.
Host families
Students may wish to stay with Florentine Host families in order
to familiarize themselves with the Italian language.
CLIDA works together with a number of quality Host families chosen
for their comfortable homes, cultural levels, friendly disposition,
central locations and excellent cuisine. In fact, a student may
wish to also dine with the family in the evenings.
Hotels or pensioni
The school works together with a number of reliable Florentine hotels
all located in the city center. The hotels range from one star pensioni
style hotels to top 5 star hotels.
