Group Italian Language Courses

Group Italian language courses offer students the chance to make friends from all corners of the globe and form a common bond in the Italian language. Learning along side with other students with your same Italian language skill level, these courses are mostly taught in the traditional, yet comfortable, classroom setting. Class size is small --normally no more than 13 students -- so students can be confident they'll receive lots of attention from the teachers.

Learn Italian in Italy with our group Italian language classes. Both our group and One-on-One Italian language classes are composed of three levels: Beginner Italian, Intermediate Italian and Advanced Italian, each of which are subdivided into three further levels. This wide range of Italian course levels means that students can join the level most suited to their needs based on their test results.

Each Italian course level lasts four weeks although one can attend the school for a minimum of two weeks or for a maximum of thirty-six weeks. Beginners must start their Italian language courses at the beginning of the month. Each Italian language lesson lasts 45 minutes. All group Italian courses are available in 9 levels.

Course Descriptions: GROUP ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSES
	Course G8: Italian Language Course The G8 course is our standard intensive course with language lessons in the morning from 9 to 12:15 am. The first 2 lessons focus on grammar and further 2 lessons are devoted to conversation/ vocabulary. Class is every day from Monday to Friday. Minimum Duration: 2 weeks Suggested Duration: 3 months
	Course G1: Intensive Italian Language Course The G1 course is a very intensive ltalian language course; lessons take place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm with two lessons of grammar, and after a short break, two lessons of conversation and one lesson, according to the level, of history of Florence, lecture and animation, comprehension, composition, recipes and tradition, scenario, film, Italian literature, newspapers, oral summary, topics etc. Classes are every day from Monday through Friday. Minimum Duration: 2 weeks Suggested Duration: 2 months
	Course GL: Standard Italian Language Course The GL course is a super intensive ltalian language course; lessons take place in the morning from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm with two lessons of grammar, and after a short break, two lessons of conversation and one lesson, according to the level, of history of Florence, lecture and animation, comprehension, composition, recipes and tradition, scenario, film, Italian literature, newspapers, oral summary, topics etc. Classes are every day from Monday through Friday. Conversation and/or culture lessons take place twice a week in small groups in the afternoon from 2:00 to 3:30 or from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. Classes are every day from Monday through Friday. Minimum Duration: 2 weeks Suggested Duration: 2 months
Course Descriptions: COMBINATION GROUP / ONE TO ONE ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSES
	Course GD1 This Italian language course combines group and One to One Italian language courses. The group Italian language lessons are held in the morning from 9 am to 1 pm, and one individual Italian lesson takes place twice a week in the afternoon. Class is every day from Monday through Friday. Structure: 100 group lessons and 16 One to One lesson in four weeks Course start: Beginners are kindly requested to start the Italian language course on the dates indicated in the calendar. The others may begin any Monday. Duration: This Italian language course can be taken for a minimum of 2 weeks and upwards. There are altogether 9 levels of the group Italian language course; each level lasts 4 weeks.
	Course GD2 This Italian language course combines group and one to one Italian language courses. The group Italian language lessons are held in the morning from 9 am to 1 pm, and the individual Italian lessons take place fiur times a week in the afternoon. Class is every day from Monday through Friday. Structure: 100 group Italian language lessons and 32 One to One lessons in 4 weeks. Course start: Beginners are kindly requested to start the Italian language course on the dates indicated in the calendar. The others may begin any Monday. Duration: This Italian language course can be taken for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Schedule of Lessons: Classes in language and culture are generally held Monday through Friday while Saturdays and Sundays are reserved to visit the city or tour places of artistic interest. In January and December, however, classes may also be held on Saturdays. On national holidays, or on the feast of the city's patron saint, classes are cancelled and are not rescheduled. Our schools are open all year-round and classes with a maximum of 13 students are held at all levels every month.

Note:Each group course level lasts four weeks. With the exception of the Beginner level, students may attend the CLIDA for a minimum of two weeks or for a maximum of 36 weeks. Beginner level students must begin their course on the first day of class.
